Three Tomatoes Fundraiser for RCHS

Yard Sale Item Drop Off

Pre-priced items for the yard sale can be dropped off at the brown building next to the RCHS shelter on Friday, May 20 from 8 AM – 6 PM.

Transportation to Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic

RCHS is partnering with Vermont Companion Animal Neutering (VT-CAN) to get Rutland County cats spayed and neutered.  VT-CAN, a low cost spay/neuter clinic located in Middlesex, VT, is a long drive from Rutland County.  To help out, RCHS and VT-CAN are working together to make it easier for cat owners.  By dropping your cat at RCHS, volunteers will transport your cat to VT-CAN where he or she will be spayed or neutered and given a rabies shot, and returned to RCHS later that day.  The Spring dates are March 9, April 13, May 11 and June 22.  Prior registration is required and VT-CAN fees for services apply.   Click here for more information.  To register please call RCHS at 483.6700.  For more information about VT-CAN visit www.vt-can.org.

RCHS Yard Sale!

RCHS is holding a yard sale to raise money for the homeless animals in Rutland County.  Join the fun, find a treasure and help raise money for the animals and programs at RCHS.  There will also be a bake sale to help raise funds.  Now is the perfect time to start cleaning out those attics, basements and closets!  RCHS is happy to accept donations for the yard sale.  All items must be pre-priced (nothing less than 25 cents) and in working order.  No clothing, shoes, textbooks, magazines or computer equipment.  Items can be dropped off at the brown building next to the RCHS shelter on Friday, May 20 from 8 AM – 6 PM or Saturday, May 21 from 7:30 AM – 9 AM only.  The shelter will be open on the 21st from 10 AM – 5 PM for visiting with the adoptable animals. If you have any questions call the RCHS Business Office at 483.9171 or click here.

“Spring for the Animals” Auction

Join us for the 5th annual RCHS “Spring for the Animals” Auction on Thursday, April 7 at the Rutland Country Club from 5:30 – 7:30 pm.  Tickets are $25 and include hors d’oeuvres, a beverage, silent auction and live music.  Auction items include art, jewelry, dining, items for the home and more!  Over 100 items have been donated so far!  Space is limited so buy your tickets ahead of time!  Tickets can be purchased at the RCHS Shelter (Pittsford) and The Pet Cage (Rutland).  Bring your family and friends and enjoy an evening raising needed funds for the homeless animals in Rutland County.  If you can’t attend or want to see the items and bid prior to the event, click here and join the fun!  Online bidding begins March 21.  All proceeds support the animals and programs at RCHS.  For more information contact Beth (shelterbeth@rchsvt.org) at 483.9171 ext. 217 or click here for more details.
