A Specialized Hardrock Mountain Bike: versatile, entry-level, and ready for everything from gravel roads to Vermont singletrack. Comes complete with a helmet and lock, so you’re set from day one.
Raffle #2: Kayak
A like-new kayak, paired with a paddle and life vest, ready to hit Lake Bomoseen, the Otter Creek, or wherever the current takes you.

20th Annual Duck Derby
Join us for Tails of Hope’s 20th Annual Duck Derby; a milestone celebration you won’t want to miss! On Friday, September 18th at 5pm, thousands of rubber ducks will plunge into East Creek at Giorgetti, 2 Oak St. Extension, Rutland, Vermont, all racing to the finish line for a great cause. Adopt a duck, cheer on the race, and enjoy a day full of games, baked goods, face painting, and event merchandise. The first four ducks to cross the finish line win cash prizes up to $500, and the 20th duck to finish earns its adopter the honor of naming a litter of kittens! Best of all, the whole event will be streamed live on Facebook, so friends and family near and far can join in the fun. All proceeds benefit RCHS and the animals who need it most. Come celebrate 20 years of tails, ducks, and giving back!

Where Hope is Needed Most
Some of the most life-changing help we provide can’t be scheduled in advance. An animal arrives in critical condition overnight. A litter of kittens needs round-the-clock bottle feeding. These are the moments where having flexible, unrestricted funding makes all the difference.
The Where Hope Is Needed Most fund allows Tails of Hope to respond quickly to our most pressing needs: from emergency veterinary care and life-saving surgeries, to everyday operational costs like food, utilities, and staffing that keep our doors open every day of the week.
