RCHS to Host Pet Adoption Event and Supply Drive as part of the 2020 ASPCA® & Subaru Love Pets Grant Program

The Rutland County Humane Society has been awarded a $5,000 grant from the ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®).  The grant will help RCHS fund essential lifesaving services such as vaccinations, wellness exams, spay/neuter surgery, treatment for parasites and bloodwork for the homeless animals in Rutland County, VT.  RCHS is hosting an appointment only pet adoption event and an everyone-is-safely-welcome supply drive with Rutland Subaru on Saturday, October 17 from 9 AM – 3 PM at the Rutland County Humane Society, 765 Stevens Road in Pittsford, VT.  Rutland Subaru staff will be at RCHS helping to Stuff the Subaru with donated supplies for the animals in addition to helping make our property shine.  Throughout the day, appointment only pet adoptions will safely take place at RCHS following Vermont state guidelines of wearing masks and social distancing. Our goal is to adopt 13 animals that day as part of the grant program.  Help us to Stuff the Subaru and to make a difference for 13 special pets that day.  To schedule an appointment for adoption please contact the RCHS Adoption Center at 802.483.6700. #SubaruLovesPets
