Services
What We Do
Rescuing Animals
We provide shelter, medical care, and compassion to animals in need across Rutland County’s 28 towns. From strays to surrenders, every animal receives individualized care and thorough medical attention, including examinations, vaccinations, treatment for illness or injury, and any necessary procedures.
Finding A Home
We match homeless pets with loving families through our adoption program. Every adopted animal is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Our team helps ensure the perfect fit between pet and adopter for lifelong companionship.
Spay & Neuter
Every animal adopted from RCHS is spayed or neutered before going home. This commitment helps prevent pet overpopulation and ensures healthier, happier pets for our community.
COMMUNITY CLINICS
We offer four affordable community clinics annually at our shelter for residents of Rutland County’s 28 towns, providing vaccinations, microchipping, and cat neuter services.
Pet Microchipping
Permanent pet identification through microchipping helps ensure lost pets can be reunited with their families. We offer affordable microchipping services to give you peace of mind and your pet a way home.
