Adoption is Just the Beginning
When you adopt from Tails of Hope, you don’t walk out the door alone. We stay connected because transitions take time — for pets and people alike. That’s why every adopter receives a personal follow-up call at three days, three weeks, and three months after adoption.
At three days, we check in while everything is still new — offering reassurance, answering questions, and helping you navigate those first tender moments together. At three weeks, we celebrate the milestones and troubleshoot any bumps in the road. And at three months, we get to do our favorite thing: hear how much life has changed.
Those three-month calls are something our team genuinely looks forward to. The shy dog who now hogs the couch. The cat who took three weeks to come out from under the bed and now won’t leave your side. The rabbit who turned a quiet house into a lively one. These are the stories that remind us why this work matters — and they are the heartbeat of our Happy Tails community.
