In a home overflowing with cats and kittens, two small siblings named Leo and Page did their best to make sense of the world. Even in the chaos, Leo and Page found each other. Whatever else was uncertain, they always had one another; curled up nose to tail, sharing warmth, sharing comfort.

When it became clear the home could no longer keep up, Leo and Page were brought to Tails of Hope – Rutland County’s Humane Society. It was a big change for two little kittens, but they carried their gentle, loving spirit with them right through the shelter doors. Staff and volunteers quickly noticed how close the pair were. They were always finding their way back to each other.

For about a month, Leo and Page called the shelter home while they waited their turn. It wasn’t the easiest way to spend kittenhood, but Leo and Page made the best of it, greeting every visitor with curious eyes and playful pounces, never losing hope that somewhere out there, the right family was looking for them too. And then, finally, that family arrived.

Leo and Page left Tails of Hope together, just as they’d arrived, and stepped into a home built just for them. No more waiting, no more wondering. Just soft beds, warm laps, and each other, for good. Today, Leo and Page are living out their days exactly as they always hoped; happy, adored, and never apart.
