Marley came to us alongside six fellow English Setters, all beloved by an older couple who had dedicated their lives to the breed. When the time came that they could no longer care for the pups, all seven found their way to us; Well-loved and full of life.

When she first arrived, Leela, Now Marley tested positive for Lyme disease and Anaplasmosis and spent about a month in treatment. Through it all, her gentle spirit never wavered. Every foster family she stayed with fell completely in love, and our staff adored her from the very beginning.

Marley even had the chance to greet young visitors during a school visit. Charming everyone with her calm and graceful nature.
