Donation Guidelines at RCHS

RCHS is appreciative to the community for its continued support of donations for our animals.  While we often receive donations we can use, we also receive donations which we are unable to use.  As a result, we have to pay to dispose of the items we cannot use.  And these costs are rising, as are many of the costs associated with running the shelter.  As a result we have made a few changes to our donation guidelines.

Donations we can no longer accept include: open bags of food, open boxes of treats, heavily used toys/food dishes, used litterboxes, pillow cases, electric blankets, fitted sheets, sleeping bags, king/queen quilts or comforters, down-filled anything, rugs, carpet scraps, newspapers, heavily used cat furniture, small animal cages and wire dog crates.  Thank you for your continued support and if you have any questions please call the shelter at 483.6700.
