Learn How to Help Make a Difference for Animals in Vermont

November 16, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

Are you ready to make a big difference for animals in Vermont and beyond?  Join fellow animal advocates at an upcoming free town hall at the Rutland County Humane Society. It will be held on Thursday, November 16 from 5:30-7 pm at RCHS on Stevens Road in Pittsford.  Learn how you can be a strong voice in the fight against animal cruelty.  The Humane Society of the United States will educate attendees about recent wins for animals, upcoming volunteer leadership opportunities and important animal protection issues in Vermont including bills to place limits on trapping, reform wildlife management policies, improve enforcement of animal cruelty laws, update livestock and equine shelter standards and further protect companion animals.  Simply bring yourself and your passion for animals to the town hall, no prior knowledge of animal legislation is needed.  You’ll be inspired to learn how your local support can make such a big impact in the fight against animal cruelty.  Light snacks and water will be provided.  If you have questions or would like to attend please contact your HSUS state director, Barry Londeree at blonderee@humanesociety.org or 802.598.9737.  We hope to see you there!
