2 Year Old.  Neutered Male.  Pit Bull.  51 lbs.

I’m a very playful, on the go fella and if you have lots of toys, especially plush squeaky toys, I’ll be your best friend.  I’ll need lots of exercise and play time with my new family so walks, hikes and other outdoor adventures sound great.  I’m very smart and I already know Sit, Shake and Down and boy do I love treats so it should be pretty easy to teach me more commands and maybe even some tricks.  I’m a little shy when I first meet new people so please be patient with me but then I settle in and my personality blossoms.  I was surrendered by my owner of just a week or so on April 14 because I tend to get into things and I’m too much dog for her.  I have no known history with dogs or cats.  If you already have a dog at home it will be important that we meet to make sure we get along.  I did live with 3 young children and I think there was too much going on for me and a quiet home with a few active adults might be best.  When I don’t get the exercise and play time I need I tend to get bored and I can get into things so an active family will be terrific.  I do pull when I walk on a leash and I’m a lot of dog so please know that about me.  I was not good for my vaccines and exam so that is something else to take into consideration.  I’ve had a few homes in the past few months so I’ll need a patient owner who will provide me with the stability and exercise I need to bloom.  If you think I’d be a good fit in your home please stop by for a visit.
