9 month old. Spayed Female. Pit Bull. 58 lbs.

I’m a wiggly, excited gal and I already know Sit, Down and Shake! I’m at the point in my life (9 months old!) that I need some work on a variety of things so I would be great project for an experienced dog owner! I’m a smart lady who should learn easily (remember those tricks I already know!) but I will need work, lots of attention and lots of exercise and playtime. I was surrendered by my owner on December 29 because she couldn’t afford to care for me any longer. I have no manners so my new owner will need to work with me on leash manners, how to greet people appropriately and how to take treats gently. I’m also not used to body handling so my new owner will need to work with me on that so I’m comfortable being with people, picking up my feet, having people look in my ears and other basic handling. I’m highly excitable so I will need lots of exercise and playtime to keep me happy. I am looking for a home without children since I am such a handful and have no manners. I am also looking for a home with no cats or small animals since I have a high chase drive. I may do well with another dog but if you have a dog at home it will be important for us to meet to make sure we get along. I’m an adorable gal who has a lot of potential so I hope I find a new owner who will work with me so I can turn into a fun and well mannered canine companion!
